My day today

So I started off today, not being able to sleep. Due to a lack of AC, I eventually dozed off around, 5 AM. Yeah, I’m not kidding. I woke up around 11 AM, and went out to Martin’s house. You see, today is the day Martin left for Army bootcamp. He had to leave around 5 PM, so myself and Tejinder hung out with Martin. There was much Melee playing and at one point we went out to Target so that Martin could buy things that he needed for the trip. Martin’s mom treated us to McDonalds for lunch, and it’s been so long since I’ve had it, haha. Man, it was good. I know I shouldn’t, but I’m extremely tempted to buy fast food for lunch tomorrow. <.< I had the fish fillet thingy. It’s been years since I’ve had it, haha.

So there was ice cream and hanging out at Tejinder’s house, and then I picked up a bunch of stuff from Martin’s house before coming home and melting. My house is mind-meltingly hot. Also, the heat makes tempers short, and there was much yelling between some siblings. Also, my dad made myself and my brother Doug mow the backyard. Now is that wasn’t too bad honestly, since I was getting stir crazy. Seriously, I need things to do to take my mind off of the heat, even if it is working in the heat. Afterwards, I had to go back outside and cut a weed/branch thing that I missed. I managed to bump my hand into a potted cactus plant. It wasn’t the big spines either, I hit the flower/budding part that has a bunch of tiny spines.

I tried to blow some out, but as i stood and examined my hand, my dad asks, “Is there still a lot in your hand?”

“I can’t really tell.”

“If you touch the area you’ll know instantly.” O.o is the face I made to that.

“I’m going to go inside and have Mom look at my hand.”

“Ok, well call Doug out to finish up.”

Yeah, that’s what happened so far. I really only wanted to mention the cactus part, but I’ve got to get used to blogging more.

My dreams are taking control of me.

No really. The term “lucid dreaming” basically means that you are fully aware of that you are dreaming, and that you can manipulate the dream. Now I’m nowhere near being able to have a lucid dream, nor am I trying to, but its starting to become that every time I make a decision in my dreams something bad happens. For example:

This morning, I had a dream about how I was like, staying at this fancy hotel-resort thing. It was like, a graduation party or something. I was hanging out with friends right, and we’re havign a good time, until I decide that I want to break away and explore the place. I find an arcade, and I want to play some DDR. Somebody starts to ridicule me, and when I whip around I see two people. One of them is Daniel Liberatore, or however his last name is spelled. He’s an okay guy, but I learned pretty harshly on our Government project that he’s not the most reliable. Next to him is someone I didn’t know, but in the dream I can tell he was the one dissing me. We start arguing, and the unnamed guy is really effing arrogant. The arugement breaks down, and I tear off the guy’s ear. Yeah I know, it’s weird. Trust me, it gets worse.

He laughes like a madman, and I flee knowing that he’ll call some sort authority figure on me. I spend the rest of the dream running and hiding in the unfamiliar area, completely paranoid about getting caught. Here’s the thing though, before I’m caught, I manage to will away the events that transpired, and I’m back in a room with my friends again. I’m freaked out, and I see the unknown guy in the room, talking with other people, but he has both ears and he doesn’t know who I am. I think I’m safe, but when I decide to play a video game, I’m controlling an avatar of myself in a survival horror game, very much like Resident Evil. As I play the game, I keep getting killed gruesomely and there’s like, blood in the game walls refering to the incident in the arcade. It wasn’t fun.

This morning wasn’t the only time my dreams went sour. In fact, every dream I’ve had since I got back my room has been really terrible. Not nightmares where I wake up in fear, but dreams that just f**k iwth me. I don’t know what it is. I just don’t. Once, I had a dream where I had tanbark and splinters embedded deeply into the soles of my feet. The feeling was so real, when I woke up, I was afraid to move my feet because my feet tingled the way they did in the dream. I need a normal dream please.

I could be blogging about UC Davis prep, assorted hangouts with friends, or experiences at work, but I haven’t felt like it yet. Expect another post about dreams following soon <.<

Edit: Remember when I said I applied for a position with Saizen fansubs? Well I just noticed one of the people from Saizen put a comment on that post, added on the 17th. I gotta say thanks for the clarification, and sorry for being bitter, lol.

I got my room back. My sister and my brother in law found an apartment and moved in. This night is the first time of normalcy. I wonder if I’ll dream, lol.

Raging Waters last minute Rush

Ok, so today has to be the most tiring day of my limited work at Raging Waters so far. I say limited because I haven’t been working there more than a 4 hour shift a week since I started, but don’t blame me for that, lol. I’m not in charge of the schedule.

So I had a 4 hour shift again today, 2:15-6:30. However, today the park closed early due to lack of people. It was slow enough already working the Candy Counter, but also on a slow day I was pretty bored. But then, around 3:40, the swarm began. Twenty minutes before closing time everybody wanted candy or an icee or a soda. It was madness, haha. The park was to close at 4. but these kids stuck around, buying a crap load of things, one item at a time, and it was insane. One woman ordered 5 icees for her kids, 2 mixed, two Wild Cherry, and one Blue Raspberry. So yeah, pretty tiring.

I like working morning shifts better than afternoon shifts, which is cool cuz the next time I work is Tuesday 10-2. The problem of course, is that’s all the work I get for this week. C’mon manager, thorw me a bone here! Haha.
